What Is the HonestView App?
HonestView is a free network camera app that turns your phone into a monitoring station for your security cameras. Watch live video, review recordings, and get notified the moment your camera detects motion or sound.
It works with HonestView-compatible Wi-Fi and 4G cameras — including solar and battery-powered outdoor models — and handles everything from pairing a new camera by QR code to sharing access with your family.
For your home
Check in on kids, pets, and deliveries while you are away.
For your shop or office
Keep an eye on the register, stockroom, and entrance after hours.
For farms and remote sites
Monitor fishponds, barns, and fields over 4G where Wi-Fi can’t reach.
Everything You Need to Watch Over What Matters
Six core tools, all included in the free app.
Live View
Open the app and see real-time video from any of your cameras, at home or on the go.
Playback: Cloud & SD Card
Scrub through recorded footage stored on the camera’s SD card or in optional cloud storage.
Motion & Sound Alerts
Get push notifications for motion, sound, and anomaly detection the moment something happens.
Two-Way Talk
Speak and listen through the camera — greet visitors or warn off intruders remotely.
PTZ Control
Pan and tilt supported cameras straight from the on-screen control wheel.
Multi-Camera & Sharing
Group multiple cameras, watch several at once, and share access with family members.
Set Up Your Camera in Three Steps

What Users Say About HonestView
Real 4- and 5-star reviews from the App Store and Google Play.
The app works amazingly well. We had ours for years. Such clear videos, and the playback comes in such handy.
A very easy-to-use app. Setup was simple and I could use it intuitively. The connection is fast and the video is stable, so I can check in with peace of mind even when I’m away.
The app itself works well enough. A very good plus is no ads and no hidden trackers my system can find, which is nice. Setup is fairly straightforward. Better than many others though.
Works great with my solar wireless camera system!! Works as designed. It has a lot of features and cool settings for the entire system! Love it!!
This app is really awesome. Great support and informative. Highly recommended if you need a good system.
